Co-op Advertising Cuts Down Marketing Costs
For people seeking to cut down on the cost of advertising both online and offline due to limited budgets, co-op (co-operative)advertising is the way to go. What I mean is finding like minded individuals, or people in the same field as you who are seeking to stretch out their marketing dollars (cost sharing). For instance, if you are involved in Internet Marketing and are just starting out and you do not possess deep pockets like major corporations do to cater for their marketing and advertising needs, then it would be advisable to seek out like minded individuals like you are self who are interested in getting their message out to the public but have limited financial resources. If you all pooled your finances together, decided where you were going to advertise regardless of whether you are advertising similar or competing products, then you can collect all your marketing dollars together and launch a major marketing campaign with a twist. You pick out an advertising avenue (newspaper,magazines,journals or online classifieds), find a way to rotate your adverts so that each member of the co-op receives an equal share of responses (a generic 800 number that when dialed gives a series of automated messages about a company or product, or website URL rotators that allow you to place several urls which each time they are visited bring up a different co-op members website). This will end up as a win-win situation for everyone, especially if you pick newspapers, magazines, journals with a wide circulation. I challenge you to try it out, you will never look to marketing (online or offline) the same way again, and your wallet/bank account will surely thank you. To get started, you can put the term co-op advertising in your favorite search engine, or check out your local newspaper or magazine's classified section.
